BOGS Impact Fund Application due 7/22

BOGS.jpg

BOGSº Footwear is thrilled to announce the launch of the BOGSº Impact Fund. This grant program will invest in outdoor education programs that provide lower income youth with opportunities to get outside to learn play, and grow. Many young people -- especially underserved and low-income communities -- don't develop a relationship with the outdoors due to lack of education, access and resources. At BOGSº, we live to get outside and we think every child should have the opportunity to do so, too.

Applications are being accepted from 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations across the United States and Canada.

Deadline: Proposals must be submitted by July 22, 2019.

PROJECT OVERVIEWThe BOGSº Impact Fund will award 3-year grants to a select number of non-profits, every grant will also include an in-kind donation of BOGSº Footwear. Projects should engage underserved/low-income youth and encourage those youth to grow and learn outdoors throughout their lives. Awarded organizations should be able to demonstrate how the outdoors acts as the perfect classroom to learn, play and enjoy being a kid. The goal of this program is to provide resources and dollars to remove barriers, so all kids can have access to outdoor education opportunities.

Before you begin the application; make sure your project and organization meets the following requirements:

  1. Projects must connect young people (ages 3-18) to outdoor education opportunities and engage them through ongoing outdoor experiences.

  5. Eligible organizations must be based in the United States or Canada and must be designated as a federally tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.

  6. Projects should be continualy engaging local youth, the BOGSº grant will conclude in August 2022.

  7. Project outcomes must include a minimum of 5 high-resolution photos submitted each year (due with annual reports).
