The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), in coordination with the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT), is continuing to move forward on the RAISE Project, which focuses on infrastructure improvements along the CityLink Blue and CityLink Orange bus lines to provide faster, more reliable transit and improve pedestrian safety.

Based on nearly 1,000 comments received on our initial round of proposed improvements, we have made some meaningful changes and want to provide a project update to you at an upcoming Community Advisory Panel (CAP) meeting on Tuesday, October 24th.

For your convenience two sessions are available (same content, different times):

We encourage you to continue engaging in this project’s transportation decision-making process.  At this CAP meeting you will get a first look at updated material to be shared at two upcoming public Open Houses (see below):

  • Locations of bus stop improvements, dedicated bus lanes (DBLs) and bus bulbs

  • Types of safety improvements and amenities

  • Parking or traffic impacts

  • Traffic Signal Priority (TSP) intersections

  • Bike facility options
